When Jesus said the fields were ripe and ready to be harvested, He did not say we should be picky about who to harvest. In my limited gardening experiences I have noticed that there will always be some veggies that are less than perfect. When harvest time comes, those are picked right along w/the 'good ones'. My mother would say, 'don't throw that out, a lot of it is still good'. I commend you on reaping where many refuse to go. You are in my prayers.

Thanks to all who have replied.

Mark - I just had a really long conversation with a few of them that I will post the details of. You will not believe what they said. You will slap yourself in the forehead and say DUH!

I'm just so really, really EXCITED about all this. I'm praying with ya. And I love the flyers!

Please if you get the time blog some more posts about all this. I'd love to grab all your wisdom - and anointing! How did you start engaging with "the young urban knuckleheads"? How did you progress from getting to know them, to focussing them a little on God, and how did you progress from simple conversations about God to some kind of assembly?

I've been inspired by your posts over the last wee while, but I'm also HUNGRY to get the nuts and bolts! I feel so drawn to this age group over here in the UK. The youth culture is different in some ways but obviously the same issues. I'm just praying for opportunities to demonstrate the power of the Spirit and the love of the Father (healing, setting free from addictions etc) and to demonstrate Christianity that is sincere and truly spiritual and "real" with Jesus. I know many young people are HUNGRY for the real deal, but they don't know where to look and they're not ENGAGED by trad church.

Continue to be blessed my friend. May the Holy Ghost keep taking over, and may you have the clarity to share how you co-operated with Him so that what you're gifted with can reproduce elsewhere. Don't hold back on the day-to-day stuff. Give it away and more will be pressed into your lap!
