Our memory verse for the day. Luke 6:27-28
But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.
Lets throw in a little Matthew 7:2 for good measure:
For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.

Bingo, Carl. I don’t think God considers the Democratic Party to be his “enemies” as such.

I don’t know the story… but if I was a Democrat in his town, he just said that I wasn’t welcome in his church. Considering how equally divided the country is he just cut his ministry potential in half… because we don’t have enough challenges reaching our communities already.

Nathan, I did not even think about that. Not the best move if you are trying to reach the lost. Though clearly evangelism is not the goal of people who pull these types of stunts

This guy is from my area (OC Calif.) and is always calling for prayers ‘against’ someone or another. Not really a good example to unbelievers.
He also seems to be a publicity hound–always being quoted unfortunately in the newspapers.
I even posted on him once over at my blog in November. He was then asking for prayers against some organization that turned him into the IRS for actively supporting Huckabee.

I should add this about Wiley Drake. His church does have a great outreach to the homeless.

Funny how people buck judgment when they flow in judgment.
