Saturday Morning Musings
October 25th, 2008 by Carl Thomas.- Wow - I really cannot believe last night
- Started off service with testimonies. I love hearing testimonies.
- I preached a sermon on finances I have never heard before.
- Greed is still a sin. Just because you tithe does not mean you are allowed to be greedy.
- Bunch of visitors.
- One of our guys was at a bus stop and invited a woman. The woman works at a girls shelter. The woman loaded up the girl’s shelter van and came to our service.
- My photographer was not there. So the pics are not that great, had to use my little point and shoot.
- Prophesied over a bunch of visitors. Never know how that is going to go over. God knows.
- We tarried for the Holy Ghost at the end and He came in power.
- Forgot to have an altar call. So right as the anointing was falling I said come forward if you need to get saved. Two people came up.
- At the end of the altar time, one young man who got saved asked my wife, “When will the feeling come back in my legs?” That was a new one.
- After service I prayed for my workers. I am not kidding when I tell you I saw angelic assignments.
- We spent the next hour or so in the presence not tearing down.
- Have you ever tried to tear down a service while the weighty presence is still on you?
- We need our own place.
- Pics and podcast are on The Mission site.

I am still experiencing aftershocks from last night’s service. I am so thankful God answered our prayers and poured out His Spirit on us. His presence is so precious.

It’s soooo weird reading this, and having the Holy Spirit go “YEAH!” in my heart. It’s so awesome not only knowing that I want to be a part of that, but the Holy Spirit that was and is there is also here, and He’s totally remembering and stoked about that service!
