Seems like there is some sort of outpouring happening in a certain town in India. Here are links to a few citations:
The revival that came to Meghalaya hundred of years ago has returned back and this time it’s in an unprecedented scale. People are turning to the Lord and besides Christians, even Hindu, Muslim and other non-Christian children and young people are seeing visions of Jesus, Heaven…(There is a link to a pdf file that gives a detailed account of the events.)
Here is an excerpt from a newspaper:
There have been reports during the past few weeks that students of 15 schools in Shillong and other institutions in the Khasi and Jaintia hills region were fainting, weeping, chanting hymns and having convulsions.

The revival has affected all other denominations with prayer meetings and services being held on a regular basis.
First it started right on the ground where the celebration meeting was going on. Subsequently news began to pour in that it was happening in different places, but especially amongst the Presbyterians, and especially among the younger generation. Then we heard that students in a school in Silchar in Assam were experiencing the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The school authorities, not knowing what was happening, actually had those students taken to a hospital.

WHY WHY WHY daimonds and gold
1.Kids open their palms and say “see jesus/angels is
dropping us diamonds, silver rings, powder of
gold-glitters, moon and star-shaped objects”.
They are captured in videos.
Some saw them personally- others touched. Some kept.
For others it just vanished after a touch.
2. i am not sure if the following is real or mere
optical illusion- but viewing at the video clips on
mobile phones- we saw-
The EYE of a child on the ceiling of the church
meeting hall.
3. Some claim the picture of Christ is still visible
on the crucifix. Its fading off slowly since it first
appeared on Tuesday 5th september. I am not too sure
about this
Whatever the case, people are repenting.
Muslims, Hindus throng the church hall to touch the
crucifix.

PRAREETAV - I agree. But God never seems to choose to bring revival in the middle of a supermatket filled with non-believers. He seems to send revival where there are saints who pray, cry out to God, and sanctify themselves for the glory of God.
I was informed that yesterday more white powder/flakes are found on the carpets, pews, song books in the one presbyterian church hall. This is confirmed by an elder. However i did not see all this by myself. This happens in a place called Shillong. Many of my friends are from that place. they pass messages to me.

They say that this is reported in a local daily in their language.

What the Lord is doing in the Khasi & Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya (including Shillong) is simply awesome! Some of my closest relatives and friends have been radically transformed and have fallen absolutely in love with Jesus! Some of my closest relatives are also church leaders and senior people in the Presbyterian church in Meghalaya - they say that thousands all over the Khasi & Jaintia Hills are turning to the Lord and are being added to tyhe church on a weekly basis.
What saddens me, however, and I believe breaks the heart of God as well, is the fact that so many folks who are church going and religious to some extent, are still hardening their hearts even in the midst of this mighty visistation of the Holy Spirit. The Lord is doing unusual miracles, the wind of the Spirit is blowing, the fruit of changed lives is there for all to see - yet many are still blind and deceived. I am hearing that some churches are now quenching the Spirit of God, but they are a minority.
The reason why God sent this revival is because there was deep and real hunger in the hearts of people - Presbyterians prayed for about 30 years for revival. Other churches are also experiencing revival but not in the same scale and magnitude as in the Presbyterian church. It would seem I’m a staunch Presbyterian from the way I’m writing - nope! I beong to a full gospel church that really needs revival as much as anyone else.

Christian Evans, a famous Welsh preacher whom God used to stir the nations of Wales on several occasion had this to say: “revival is God bending down to the dying members of a fire just about to go out and breathing into it until it burst into flame.”
A revival is a miracle. It is the hand of the Lord, and it is mighty. It can only be explained as the direct action and intervention of God. Men can produce evangelistic campaigns, but they cannot and never have produced a revival. A revival, by definition, is the mighty act of God and it is a sovereign act of God.
Hi am posting to say that God is so good and He is sending a Mighty wave of Revival soon ..last year we in Shillong saw the first wave the Second wave promised in Joel 2:28 is coming soon and I in Shillong have seen this already starting and i jus Praise God fir that an its soon going to spread to the nations but only if the people are wiling to accept it..

Our church is associated with an annual conference http://www.summerconference.org in Wales, and u can see the ethos at http://www.summerconference.org/r-nav/136.jsp . The revival in Wales in 1904/1905 spread to many parts of the world, including the church in modern day Mizoram, where Welsh Missionaries were used of God in bringing the gospel to the people in this land.
Alas the presbyterian church in Wales has not seen the blessing of Revival for over 100 years, and is now largely influenced by liberal theology and only a minute percentage of the population attend ANY place of worship. Former presbyterian, methodist, baptist, anglican etc church buildings have been demolished, or else converted into Mosques, temples, residential or commercial premises.
