Question For My Reformed & SBC Brothers
September 2nd, 2008 by Carl Thomas.- Is it unbiblical for a woman to have authority over a man? (If yes go to question 2)
- Is that only in a religious setting or is that a biblical truth? (if biblical truth go to question 3)
- Will you oppose this? (If no go here)
Any questions?

I in relationship with a Reformed network woh believes in the gifts. From my understanding they are fine with the Vice President. It should never be about theolgy but about character when it comes to leadership.

Holiness is not how I wear my hair, dress, (or the tone of voice I use when I pray.) Holiness isn’t about setting the bar so high that no one can reach it!
Jesus said, “Be ye holy, as I am holy.” He didn’t say, “Act ye holy, as I act holy.” Holiness isn’t an act, it’s a way of life.

lol, just received an email from a friend with an essay written by a ‘fundie’ pastor proclaiming that it is ‘unBiblical’ for faithful Christians to vote for a woman–that only men are called to rule or minister.
Of course I disagree. The pastor also says that women are not called by God to minister and should never teach in the church.
However, someone forgot to tell the Holy Spirit that it is against the word he inspired–He keeps on calling and anointing women anyway.

The bible also says don’t murder.
Between the two commands:
1) Thou shalt not kill
2) I do not allow a woman to teach or have authority over a man.
I tend to let the woman lead me, if it means she’s not going to make it easier for the general population to kill babies.
It means “think!”
Are you so opposed to women that you’d allow murder?
Or are you so opposed to murder that you’d allow women?
WWJD?

The point of my post is not to question the role of women. The point of my post is that if people shift their standing for political reasons they are hypocrites.
