Will, I can't believe it! You wrote what I only thought about the Jason. I did not have the courage to post it. A couple of his songs are really really good. But when I hear some of the other stuff I wonder if he knew that the recorder was on. I love Misty Edwards live. Some of the stuff on her albums has me scratching my head.

Carl, I'm on the same page with you on the worship. Watching your "last.fm" you play a lot of stuff that I really like. The CFNI crowd you mentioned I think did I really great thing by bringing the prophetic flow into music that is of higher quality and more structured. Glorious and Overtaken where they all perform together are some of my favorite albums of all time.

I used to listen to Rob Stearns and also the MorningStar worship stuff, but it tended to be in category 2. There would sometimes be a really good song with an anointed flow, but as a whole it didn't quite all fit together.

I hate to speak heresy here, but I tend to put Jason Upton more in category 2 as well. I saw him live and I really thought it was great, and I think he has a couple of great songs, but just not quite put together well enough for me.
