Methodism That Transforms
August 9th, 2005 by Carl Thomas.The Holy Ghost is so funny. The consummate Methodist optimist Shane posted an article basically asking “What’s it gonna take for folks to get right in our church? (My words not his) I posted a response that said, “Ain’t gonna happen.”
Not a half hour later I run across this little clip. It is the pastor of Central United Methodist Church talking about getting blindsided by the Spirit of God and experiencing renewal.
So why did I post this?
I believe that an awakening is coming and it is prideful for anyone to say where it will, or won’t, erupt. When people allow the Holy Ghost to minister, lives are changed and His kingdom is advanced. The pastor in this clip is like millions of others the world over who have experienced the life changing presence of God.
Watch it and enjoy.
BTW. I do not know the pastor who is testifying nor the minister whose website the testimony is on, but I have heard the same testimony lots and lots of times.
