I did a funeral under similar circumstances and it was the hardest thing I have ever done. Though family and friends were all sure the lady went to Heaven, they all got really mad at me when I mentioned basic things like John 3:16 and that there is a God who sent his Son to save the world and that you could be assured of your destination through faith in him. I still don't know what I would have done differently except to decline the invitation. Wow Carl, that is really a tough one.
