Healing MP3s
July 19th, 2006 by Carl Thomas.As you may know, I have been praying for a healing anointing. I believe this is in line with scripture 1 Cor 12:31 and has been birthed by the Holy Ghost. So here is the progress thus far. I was at my wife’s family reunion last week and there was a woman there who had on an elbow brace because she had sprained her elbow. I prayed that he would be healed. The next night she came up to me and said that she no longer needed to wear her brace because almost all of the pain had left her. Praise God!
On another note I have seen a remarkable increase of Words of Knowledge, though not in regards to healing. The last few times I have closed out worship I got many words of knowledge on what the Holy Ghost was doing in people. These were very specific regarding not only gifting but manifestations. An example was,
There is someone who was away from the Lord as recently as a month ago and right now the Holy Spirit is restoring you and your call. You can feel a burning sensation on your chest. Allow god to minister life to you.”
And sure enough someone came up to me and told me that it was him and that the word was spot on. So I am encouraged. But here is what I am requesting.

Great testimony!
I’ve found Todd Bentley (Fresh Fire Ministries) book helpful : “Christ’s Healing Touch, understanding how to to take God’s healing power to the world” (forward by Mahesh Chavda).
Todd has an amazing healing evangelism ministry, seeing thousands saved and healed at crusades all over the world. Our group of churches had the privilege of hosting a conference a couple of years ago, and many where healed. It was the first time I wept as someone preached, as Todd shared a vision that I had also seen the EXACT same some months earlier (”the field of dreams”) - though Todd had much greater insight. I get his newsletter and I went to see him about a year ago. I have also seen him a bunch of times on the internet at speaking at Toronto. His ministry and testimony is one of the ones that has so provoked me to see more.
This is one of those things that I am going to press through to see. I will shake every tree and look under every bed till I find the anointing God has promissed me!

Daddy: I ask you to show Carl how to breakthrough into the promise, whilst keeping him a simple, untainted vessel. Daddy, I ask you to pour out upon Carl the measure of healing anointing that you’ve given me. I know that he hungers for far more than that, and I want far more than that for him too, but please pour out what little I do have: I give it away freely and gladly. Holy Spirit, please draw Carl into greater depths of intimacy and relationship with you, that he would know the person of the anointing in greater measure than he does right now, and he would know the joy of seeing you at work testifying to the glory of Jesus in the lives of the hurting, the lost, the sick, and the wounded. Pour out with outrageous grace upon him, even as he finishes reading this. To your glory, Lord Jesus.

I would STRONGLY encourage you to check out Bill Johnson’s church and his books–you can get his sermons as podcasts from ibethel.org. He has been instrumental in getting me to see the truth of Who Jesus is, the many lies we’ve believed about healing (ie. ‘God doesn’t want to heal me, He gave me this to keep me humble’ etc.), and just good Bible teaching! Check him out–you’ll grow closer to beautiful Jesus.

Thanks for commenting Andrew - I have listened to lots and lots of Bill Johnson and read his book when heaven invades earth.
Randy Clark has a unique anointing for impartation and stiring up gifts that I would like to draw from. There are a few others but if anybody has any Randy clark mp3s please let me know.
