Healing Anointing
July 6th, 2006 by Carl Thomas.I pray for people to be healed all the time. And I never understand why people are not healed when I am done. I have prayed for people for short, and long periods of time with about the same results. Every now and then people are healed. A little more often, people feel a little better and even more, people feel the presence of God but they are not healed. I cannot take this much longer
I could post a whole bunch here but I won’t.

I could have said the exact same words! In fact I believe I probably have. My old pastor, John Wimber, use to say that \’healing\’ is spelled r-i-s-k. He said that he went years praying for the sick, week after week, with little or no results, then one day it just changed and people really started to receive healing.
We are beginning to experience actual healing with greater frequency at VCC Laguna Niguel. We have always incredible reports of healing from the mission teams that we send out. One recent youth team came back from serving with the Bakers with reports of healing blind eyes, the lame, & etc. We had teams come back from Mongolia, Cambodia, India, and places we can\’t even mention because they are closed to Chrisitanity. All with tremendous healing results. Finally, it is beginning to happen back home also. Last weekend we had a youth conference led by Bill Johnson and a team from Reading. Todd Bentley was supposed to be there also, but ran into plane malfunctioning problems. Nevertheless, the conference was so large (over 1000) that we had to move it into our new food warehouse, and still had to turn some away. From the conference, they divided into teams and went out into the communities in our valley. The results of a few hours street evangelism was stunning-over 40 people were saved and the healings were numerous enough that there was no accurate count. One team of children went into a Target and prayed for folk. One 8 year old girl reported that she was involved in \’about\’ 8 healings. \”For such is the Kingdom\”.
My point is this, I believe that we are on the brink of revival in the USA and that it will start up in at least 100 places simultanously. That way the enemy will not be able to key in one place like Toronto or Brownsville and cause trouble, and bring opposition and division. I had a vision of it several years ago. With real Revival comes real healing, on every level you can think of. I believe that it will just change and the results will be far different. Come Holy Spirit, and bless our brother and all of us with the greater works, in Jesus name Amen.

I wld aks you to seeek God first. Fast, pray and wait upon the Lord. And as pastor benny says make sure know and know that you have that calling. there many gifts as you the Holy Spirit gives as he wills.
Desire and The Lord will give it to you but you have to pay a price which is given to you by only The Almighty and His Son Jesus Christ our Friend.
Jesus loves you thank you for wanting to serve him.

I too have been frustrated…because when I go go to Guyana next week, I guarantee I will see healings and deliverances…There is a great spirit of unbelief that dominates the US right now…but we are on the verge of revival breaking through, God giving is an open heaven where it will not be a struggle to see the miraculous on a regular basis! In fact yesterday the Spirit spoke and said “the shift continues….”

Michael - So your old pastor was John wimber, your church is connected with Iris, Bill Johnson comes to your church, Todd was gonna come but couldn\’t make it. If I actually receive a resident gift of healing, that would bring the total number of people that I personally know to have it to . . . one.
Like I said, I pray for people, and they often get better more quickly. But I don\’t get the BooBa like Todd says. The next time you are in an intercessory meeting with some healing folks, could you lift up my name?
btw . . . Do you know that nobody can comment on your blog? If you have a spam problem I would suggest Akismet (You are running WP, right?). I think I have had over 4,000 spam comments and only one wound up in my moderation que.

David - Praise God! Just wanted to let you know that I preached that open heavens message you posted three times since I heard it. The point I got was that even when you see the angels, keep looking for Jesus. Al;l three were great meetings.
I know what you mean by unbelief. I cannot tell you how many times I have prayed for someone and the first thing they did when I was done is to tell me how the doctor said it could be years till they were better.
I really do believe that a new season is coming for me (and I mean like this summer). Though how many times have you told God, “God, seasons are only three months. I really think it is time for this one to end.”

Carl- Thank you, thank you, thank you -for the heads up @ problem on my comment line. I am such a \’technophobe\’, took me an hour to figure out the problem -Akismet was running, but I had the comment line turned off under \”options\”–didn\’t understand that \’membership\’ involved the \’comments\’. My other blog was the same! Quess it\’s been that way from the beginning! My wife asks me every day if I have received a comment yet–at least now I have a good excuse and reason. LOL
