Day 10

December 16th, 2005 by Carl Thomas.

(Psalm 10) The wicked look to the needy as an opportunity for gain. It is amazing how many Christians think this way. They do not look at how they can be a blessing; instead they look how they can be blessed. The Word calls this wicked. They think that God will not mind this behavior but the scriptures show that this will not go inpunished.

(Proverbs 10) The thing that really ministered to me here is the promise that the hand of the diligent will be made rich. He who gathers in the summer is wise but those who sleep in harvest is a son who causes shame. I heard a saying earlier in the week that goes today€™s productivity is tomorrow€™s prosperity. It is important to keep diligent at the task at hand and not look beyond what we are suppose to be doing or looking for the next thing. The proverb also says that the labor of the righteous leads to life. I would like to think that my works bring life.

(Acts 10) It is interesting that Peter saw a vision and then an angel told him to go the house of Cornelius but when he got there he asked Cornelius why he sent for him. We are able to direct angles by seeking righteousness and declaring the Word. We are not here alone but we have the Holy Ghost, the Word, and our faith in action that can commission the supernatural on our behalf.
