Common Good: Pat Robertson…. AGAIN.

Here is my problem with linking Sharon’s stroke to his behavor as the elected leader of Israel:
HE IS NOT SAVED!
How else is he supposed to act? God is not sending strokes to the lost as punishment. Hell is awaiting him unless he gets saved. That is the time of punishment. I think we would have a hard time supporting the punishment theory with scripture. I though that God allows the Jews to be taken over as punishment, not strokes.

Over at Blogs4God they have a pretty good read along the same lines.

So what, every stressed-out senior 145 pounds overweight is struck down by the hand of God? Not that God doesn’t weave all these events into the tapestry of His will – but not as some heavenly hit-man as Robertson likes to imagine.
