I sometimes want to get my computer and throw it out of the second floor window of my bedroom. The impurity that is on the internet should make any true believer blush. To imagine the foul lies we allow into our homes via the internet would make the Apostle Paul write a new epistle.
Of course if you know me then you know I am talking about the lie that is wrapped in the Pharisee’s cloak of cessationism.
Note to cessationists: This blog is not a forum of debating unbiblical doctrine. We at RevivalBlog hold a high view of Scripture that does not allow us to delete whole chapters of the Bible like the liberals do who write these lies.
This current rant started when I read outright accusations about a ministry that is seeing some signs and wonders. Every time I see these things I wonder what the Holy Ghost feels. Besides the fact that the authors have yielded to the spirit of antichrist, they are defaming ministers of the Gospel by name. They walk in a self-ordained authority. I pray that God would show the mercy in the Great Day.
But this all brings me to this question, “Would you allow God to do something in you, or your ministry that not only is beyond your understanding, but beyond what is considered orthodox?”
If you have been crying out for something new and are not seeing it you especially want to ask yourself this question.
Imagine this scenario: You are getting ready for a meeting and you distinctly hear God tell you He is going to do something in the Bible, like cause people to interrupt your meeting with someone coming to wash your feet. Or you clearly hear God quote Isaiah 56:10 and tell you that He is restoring the bark to His people? Do you completely freak out?
What if He goes even further and quotes Isaiah 43:19? In case some people aren’t fluent in English, new means it has not been done before. As in God is going to do something that is not in the Bible.
Would you allow Him? Would you lay your reputation on the altar in order for God to be the head of your ministry? What if God said that after He did these things you would lose your credentials but this would be a sign against your denomination? What then? What if He told you that your name would be vindicated but not until after you died?
Lets get down to where the rubber meets the road. What price are you really willing to pay to see the Glory of God manifested in your life? Is that even important to you?

God is the head of “the” ministry, so what woud anyone be giving up? “your” reputation, “your” credentials, “your” denomination…don’t these all really belong to God, also? so, again, nothing to lose. these things already belong to God, and if they do not in anyone’s mind, even those that preach, well then, what can i say? and vindication…also, well, belongs to God and God’s choice of timing. and yes, your are ranting, be careful how you speak of others.
AMEN And AMEN!
Carl.
I honestly don’t know.
sorry, i really do not mind people ranting…i just want my self and others in Christ to be very careful what we say about what we view as the unsaved or those that we think of as wrong. i just want to be able to say what is in God’s will for them, what and how we are to speak of others and to others. when i reread my comment it sounded harsh…. and i did not mean it so. anyway, also i just wanted to point out that everything that we are and do belongs to God…so if anyone wants to think about that, it would help them to see that he is in control.
I feel the fire of the Holy Ghost burning in you!!!!!!
BURN BROTHER BURN!!!!!!!!!
Carl,
Anyone who has God all figured out and has no impossibility and no mystery in their relationship with Him has a god that is too small and is not the God of scripture.
We keep forgetting, he’s not a tame lion.
I am totally understanding this. I have been beaten down by the internet lately. All I seem to come across are hateful cessationist people, and I just don’t get it. It wears on you. It’s poison. I even started to think maybe I was a false prophet, and that my prayer language was from the devil.
Well, I quickly discerned this as a mind-binding spirit, and got rid of it. It’s taken a few days to get back some of the faith that was stolen, but you’re website, and this post especially, has really helped me.
I haven’t added anyone to my blogroll in months, but I’m so excited to see someone who is being led by the Spirit to bring the manifestation of God’s Kingdom to Earth, that you are going on it right now!
God Bless you!
